BEYOND SUICIDE

1st & 3rd TUESDAY EVENINGS || 2nd & 4th WEDNESDAY EVENINGS

A survivor of suicide is a person who has lost a close family member or friend to suicide. Often, people in the social circle of survivors do not understand suicide or are afraid to talk about it. Sitting in a room with other suicide survivors who understand this uniquely painful and complicated form of bereavement, may be a healing environment where you can share your pain without fear of judgment.

As a member of our Beyond Suicide Group, you will become part of a group where survivors search for answers, cope with the trauma of suicide, and help each other feel that they are not alone in this heartbreaking loss. Members in this group safely share their individual grief reactions and talk with other survivors on how they have coped with symptoms like shock, depression, intense sadness, anger, guilt, and perhaps even feelings of abandonment.

You are not alone in your grief. There are millions of survivors who, like you, are trying to cope with the loss of someone they love through the tragedy of suicide death.

Size of the group: Generally 8-12 members.

Facilitated by two trained volunteer facilitators.
