Break-ups, separations and divorce are notoriously difficult events. There is built up hurt from everything leading to the relationships end, and then an expectation to agreeably divide our lives. Sadly, there are more examples of angry, spiteful endings than of kind and respectful separations. If you are in the midst of a separation and hope to uncouple without ruining the relationship, this workshop is for you. This workshop is an opportunity to learn tools and practices to implement while navigating a separation. Resolving to practice integrity during a separation is the most respectful thing partners can do, as it honors the value of time spent together. You and your partner will be joining other couples who also want to experience a thoughtful ending to their relationship. Participants will be given the opportunity to create a vision of the type of relationship they hope for after separation and will learn skills to help create that reality. Reasons to consider this opportunity include: wanting to maintain a good relationship after separation, avoiding undo stress on children or loved ones involved, and learning how to be kind even while stressed. This workshop will be offered for a maximum of four couples per session.

• Participants will learn tools and skills needed to help manage their personal stress during the separation

• Experience new ways of interacting during the separation that are designed to promote kindness and compassion

• Practice conscious communication about the separation and future relationship structure

• Create vision of the relationship you hope to maintain after the separation
