Cass Grange is an investment advisor for Lucien, Stirling & Gray Advisory Group in Austin. She has 24 years of experience working with individuals and families, guiding them on their financial journeys and helping them see that wealth is more than just money.  Cass believes that wealth is not just defined financially but is also your personal and social wealth.

Cass's art is a huge part of her personal wealth.  Cass didn't major in art, being practical about money and careers, but has designed birthday cards for friends since she was six years old.  She has developed her craft by attending painting classes and workshops in Austin and around the country.  Her paintings reflect her childhood in Nebraska, with many landscapes of barns and cows and long horizons and big skies.  "I like to paint colorful and happy paintings.  I like to think about the path of light in paintings. Art is my happy place.  It is so valuable for all of us to take the time to invest in ourselves and live balanced and creative lives," said Cass.

Cass also believes in social wealth and is active in the community, Cass is a board member for Family Eldercare and former board chair.  Cass is a founding member of the Planned Giving Council of Central Texas.  As the former director of Major Gifts for St. Edward's University, Cass has extensive experience helping people plan their philanthropic giving.  She is also a member of the board of the Arc of the Capital Area.  "Volunteering is such a great way to learn about Austin and meet dedicated people.  I get much more out of it than I ever imagined."

Last spring, Cass completed the training to be a volunteer grief support group facilitator at The Austin Center for Grief and Loss, and she serves on Austin Grief’s Finance Committee.  This connection inspired her to create an art show and donate 100% of the sales proceeds to Austin Grief.

Austin Grief is hosting Cass's art opening with a wine and cheese meet and greet on Friday, June 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at The Austin Center for Grief & Loss, 2413 Greenlawn Parkway.   Cass Grange's acrylics and watercolors will be on display and available for purchase.  The entire community is invited.
