Generally two activities are planned for each group session, one of a more physical nature and the other more group discussion focused on a children’s grief topic. Examples of topics offered are worries, feelings of grief, talking to friends about my loss, changes in my family, remembering, and it’s OK to be happy. There is an emphasis on each child finding their own way to express their loss. Children can expect to play games, talk, do art, watch short movies, and other such activities.

Size of the group: Generally 6-8 children.
