Reports To: Clinical Director

To assist adults and children as they move from loss to life through support, therapy, education, training and consultation throughout the greater Austin area.

Contract Yoga Instructor must provide Austin Grief with a current professional resume and copy of yoga instructor certification (RYT).
Contract Yoga Instructor has professional experience in the mental health field and has comfort in creating a safe space for individuals experiencing distress (strongly preferred).
Contract Yoga Instructor must sign a confidentiality agreement with Austin Grief for purposes of client information that will be handled in a confidential manner to protect and preserve the right to privacy and to ensure compliance with State and Federal laws.
Contract Yoga Instructor must provide information for consent to a background check.
Co-facilitate therapeutic yoga groups with Austin Grief staff therapist for respective 6-week time frame in August and September 2019.
Attend pre and post group debriefings with to address co-facilitation skills and processing dynamics of group sessions.
Austin Grief will compensate a total of $360 for the 6-week group series. Contract workers will be provided a 1099 form at the end of the fiscal year, no later than January 31, 2020, for Federal Tax requirements that are the responsibility of the yoga instructor.
