Rachel Saffer (she/her/hers) earned her Masters of Social Work from Bridgewater State University in Bridgewater, Massachusetts. Starting as an office volunteer at Austin Grief, Rachel quickly grew to be an integral part of our team.
Rachel has experience in providing counseling to adults, teenagers and children who have experienced significant trauma in both group and individual settings. Rachel utilizes various interventions in her practice including therapeutic yoga, EMDR, and traditional play therapy. She believes in providing every client with a welcoming and safe environment so that they can work towards healing on their own terms.

CLIENT INFORMATION and CONSENT FORM
After making your very first appointment for either group, individual, or family therapy, Client Information and Consent Forms will need to be completed before your initial intake session.

Individuals 18 and older seeking any of our services must complete this form.

For couples therapy clients, each of you should complete this form separately.

Parents or guardians bringing in a child/adolescent, please complete this form for each child/adolescent under 18 years of age. (This form must be signed by the guardian of the child.)
Consent forms are located in your client portal.
PARENT/GUARDIAN INFORMED CONSENT AGREEMENT
Additional documentation is required from parents/guardians for minor children and adolescents.

Review and email the completed Informed Parent/Guardian Consent Agreement to info@austingrief.org.

Note the section on divorce if applicable. In the case of a finalized divorce or legal separation, a copy of the divorce decree or legal separation documentation and two parent signatures must be provided.
